2010 Best Fit Integrator Award

SymSoft Solutions has been awarded the prestigious Best Fit Integrator Award for the second year in a row. This time the award is "Horizon Award in Online Services" for the Ca.Gov Locator mobile application.  The application has been developed for the California State. It allows California citizens to locate the state services near their location using their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad mobile devices. 

The Best Fit Integrator Award is the result of the State of California nominating SymSoft Solutions as their partner integrators whose solutions proved exceptional in areas such as public access, transparency, and cost savings. Twelve winners were selected across the US and acknowledged at the Center for Digital Government’s 2010 Best Fit Integrator Awards dinner held in Rockport, Maine in May.  The Center is a national research and advisory institute on information technology policies and best practices in state and local government.

You can download the Ca.Gov Locator for from Apple's iTunes Store free of charge.  A web only version of the application allows the users with other smart phones to access the same service through their mobile browsers.
