SymSoft Solutions collaborated with over 20 stakeholders from different divisions and branches within the agency to define the enterprise-wide content management and implementation strategy. We designed the new information architecture and created engaging visual design for the agency website. We designed and developed the complete solution for the SharePoint 2010 to fit the needs of the users and the organiztion, whcih included custom web parts, enterprise search, user access control and workflows for content approavals. Content authors have access to a rich library of media resources and a well organized library of documents to enrich the information on the website.
The new website offers consistent look and feel across different sections of the Cal EMA website, follows the Ca.gov standards for accessibility and provides a rich experience for the website visitors.
