ARB Office of Climate Change Website Redesign

The California Air Resources Board (ARB), Office of Climate Change (OCC) engaged SymSoft to redesign their website to improve usability and accessibility of the website including compliance with WCAG guidelines checkpoint 1 and 2, Section 508, and W3C standards. The project also involved providing consulting services for branding, page design, creating the web template for the Office of Climate Change that followed the California's Web Standards, as well as the standards defined by the ARB Office of Information Services (OIS). SymSoft also provided the page conversion services and worked with the OCC for knowledge transfer.

The web template and converted pages were validated and tested for compliance with the standards. The template was then adopted by the ARB OIS and integrated in the main ARB website.

SymSoft also worked on integrating the new web templates with web applications in PHP and MySQL.
