Over the past few years, considerable effort has been made to improve the State’s web presence in order to better serve the 37 million constituents and businesses in the State. SymSoft Solutions was chosen to analyze the State portal and the websites under the ca.gov domain to identify the issues and opportunities for improving the Portal Offerings.

SymSoft is proud to be a key partner with the California State's Portal team on the portal modernization efforts for the CA.Gov, providing consulting and implementation services for innovative technology solutions, leading to the state's website winning the prestigious "Best of the Web" award in 2010. This was a drastic improvement from the state's ranking in 2006, which was #47 in the 50 state survey. SymSoft has been involved in design and development of some of the key features that were highlighted by the State CIO in their press release .
