CCC Member Activity Tracking System
The AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Project (WSP) is a community-based watershed restoration program committed to preserving and restoring California’s watersheds and native salmon runs. The AmeriCorps WSP members are involved in a wide variety of activities and the WSP is required to track the member activities and report progress of the project to the sponsoring agencies. The WSP hired SymSoft to automate their cumbersome, time-consuming and error-prone manual processes related to collection, compilation and reporting of the activity data. SymSoft built a comprehensive Member Tracking System to collect and track the member activities using a web-based interface. The system provides online access to members to log their daily activities, and provide an ability for mentors to monitor the activities. The WSP staff track the progress of the program and generate reports based on criteria that the sponsoring agencies need.
