eHealth Portal Design and CMS Implementation

California's eHealth initiative is a coalition of groups in the state, working together to improve the accuracy and efficiency of healthcare through meaningful use of technology.  The eHealth Initiative hired SymSoft to design and develop the eHealth Web Portal, which provides access to information related to the Health Information Technology  and Health Information Exchange, as well as directs users to appropriate resources in the area of eHealth in California.  

SymSoft worked with over 14 stakeholder groups within the state government, non-profit organizations and others to identify the information to be presented through the website, designed the information architecture and visual design, and developed the website using a DotNetNuke Content Management System (CMS). Using the DotNetNuke CMS, business users can maintain the website content to provide relevant and timely information. The Website also includes many useful features such as integrated calendar for all eHealth partners, access to partner information as well as latest news . The easy administrative interface provides role-based access control to allow only authorized users to edit the website content.

SymSoft also provides hosting and maintenance for the website.
