The Explore California mashup allows the users to explore California Counties data using an interactive map and explore the county trends for population, income, unemployment, new housing units, etc. over a number of past years. The application plots diverse metrics on the same chart to allow users to compare and contrast the patterns of growth and decline in various categories and the relationships between them. For example, check out the population growth pattern against new housing units in your county! We believe that the past trends and future projections will help the Californians in their planning efforts for years to come.
